This recipe is what I use for my family of 6.
Whole Wheat waffles/ pancakes
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3 T honey (or raw sugar)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup almond milk (you can use regular milk we just have a milk allergy in the house)
Warm waffle iron or skillet. mix together dry ingredients then add the rest stir together and add water till you get the consistency you need.
Poor into iron and cook till done. you can top with anything your heart desires. We have even put turkey sausage patties and eggs and made a yummy breakfast.
