Today we took a road trip to Vermont. Snickers joined us on this trip. since he has started school officially now he is joining us for all our trips around the USA.

Lake Champlain sea monster ~ ohhhhhh scary or maybe not.They call him Champ. Is he real or not real. Well either way he is pretty famous in Vermont at Lake Champlain. Here is where you can find out more about him. They even have a school mascot named after him.
Who likes Ben and Jerry’s ice cream? I do I do!! Okay I like all ice cream.Did you know that Ben and Jerry’s is founded in Vermont.

Next we learned about maple syrup. You have to go to this site called Vermont Maple syrup where you can learn all about how they make maple syrup.
Oh and a yummy part about Vermont is the state pie is of course Apple pie!
Last of all the boys filled out their travel logs. What a fun trip we had.

ReplyDeleteWhat do all the tabs in the binder say? I am going crazy over this road trip thing! I bought a wall thing that has all the flags, flowers and birds. You also add the state capital and state name.....
