Vincent’s Baptism Easter Sunday 2011
What a Great day to have a baptism!! The day we celebrate the rising of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we also celebrated the baptism of our oldest son Vincent. He has been talking about this day for quite some time. He was anxious waiting for our church to decide when to have their next baptisms day and when the day was said he was so excited and couldn’t wait to put his name of the list of Believers. This little man of mine is such faithful believer in Christ, he prays daily, talks about Jesus through out the day, And reads his Bible often. So this day today was such a happy day for me when he publicly pledged his love for Jesus. I had a hard time holding back my tears today as I sat and watched.
Dear Lord, I pray for my son Vincent that he will always walk beside you in all his days. I pray that he will always turn to you in time of need. I ask for you Lord to wrap your arms around him always so he feels your love no matter what. I pray that he becomes a great man that shines bright with your light so others will come to you Lord. I pray these things in Jesus name, Amen.
God Bless Jen

Middle School Meyham
Here they were writing down sins then asking forgiveness for them. After that they shredded them up. Just like when you ask in your prayers this is what God does he forgives just like when they shred the paper. Jesus died on the cross for us so we can do just this each and everyday. What a wonderful gift that was given to us.
They played a few games too.
Then they each took a mirror and then read a little poem on self-respect. Spending some time reflecting on themselves and realizing they are perfect just the way they are.
They did a little swimming.
Then they learned to work together to pick this tire up.
Doing a little bit of clean up around the city.
These kids are becoming great disciples. They spent a couple of days learning how to become a disciple. What a wonderful great bunch of kids they are.

Jonah study week 1

On Wednesday we started our bible study on Jonah. Well I have to say so far I LOVE it!! Priscilla Shirer is very down to earth in her video that we watched. First we watch a video then through out the week we do some of our own work. During the video she made us all realize so much about ourselves. She talks about how Jonah is the one prophet that when God calls him to do something he runs. How many of us when God calls us to do something we run because it is not in our life plans at that moment. She talks about how we have life interruptions, in her life she talks about how her and her husband decided that they were done having children and then guess what God does?..... Well he blesses then with another baby. Wow well that is always a surprise. For Jonah God asks Jonah to go preach to a city that Jonah feels is hopeless. How many times do we feel when God calls us to do something and we feel its is hopeless so what is the use? Priscilla goes on to say how our interruptions that we have are really Divine Intervention. Now if we look at them that way how many times would we have welcomed Gods interventions with open arms? I am working on this right now I have faithfully given my life over to Him and I am going to try my hardest to welcome these "interruptions" with open arms and just go forward in faith. I am right now working on one of those. God has shown me a few things in the Bible that well most of us in today's world have thrown these things out the window saying that they were just customs of the time but no where in the scripture does it say to us that well if the world decides we are not to do these things then its okay. Now I have to stay faithful that God is leading me in the right direction, let me reword that I am faithful that God is leading me in the right direction. I am so excited to see what all he has in store for me and my family now.
God bless,
jen

What a Blessed day!
Brooke was baptized today. What a wonderful thing she has done. She has given her life to Christ and wanted to show the world that she has done so. This day is going to be remembered for the rest of her life as her 2nd "birthday". What a wonderful child we have that the Lord blessed us with.

See You at The Poll

I totally forgot about this awesome day!
Some of you may know about this day. It happens once a year
at the beginning of the school year. Since you all know our kids
do not go to public school so I just drove her there that morning.
Well what "See you at the Poll" is all about praying over the school,
students, teachers, government, city, anything you can think of
they pray about. It is such a remarkable thing they these
kids do for their community.
They started it out by meeting at the flag poll around 7:30am and
they began by singing worship music. Then as more students came
then broke up into smaller groups and prayed then they got into
one big circle as you can see in the pictures and they all held hands
and prayed together. It was such a beautiful sight.
Then to see the on lookers watching and wondering what they
were all up and watching some of them get the courage to join in
it was an amazing sight. The Lord is so awesome and
he can do anything. To watch some of these children this year
be saved because of other students it the best. I feel so blessed
that my children know Christ and tell their friends about him
when ever they can. I know that the Lord has blessed me
with such a wonderful family and all that I have I praise him for
it. He is such a wonderful loving God.

We are all "teachers" 3 of us homeschool and one other is a public school teacher. So we all have a lot in common. We are starting a new study next week and I am very excited about. I thought I would post on this study as I walk though it. I pray it will bring me closer in my walk with God.

Gods Word in Our Homeschool
As for what we do for devotion time is Brooke and Vinny both have a devotion book that they go through daily and I also read from the Bible each morning too. I just love this time. Will and Croix snuggle up with me while I read and Brooke and Vinny listen and journal during this time. This is such an important time of the day for us all to take a step back and just listen to Gods word. I just love how they all get something out of it. They either write about how it helped them or they just tell me. What a life time of hope this will bring to them if they always stay in His word.
I pray that they will always walk with Jesus in their daily lives, and grow up into God fearing wonderful people.
